Lord of the Rings.
I almost said Jaws because Jaws and Jaws 2 were both really good but everything after that was just awful.

ohmygod..
I'm a die hard John Williams fan, so Jurassic Park is way way up there, and is my favorite theme song. EVER. I friggen love the Terminator movies.. though the last 2 kind of sucked. But I have to say, Back to the Future is my favorite. All three of them were good, the theme was good too, and hell, I friggen love the Delorean!! Grrrreat Scot!

An eternal and unequivocal vote for The Lord of the Rings. No film franchise will ever come close, they can sure try though.
Close runner-ups in order: - Back to the Future - Ernest Goes To... - Indiana Jones (though the fourth one can sure burn in hell)
