Default Simply Beautiful

I heard Tempete and Coeur Deja Pris for the first times today. Her voice, is like an angel, and it brought tears to my eyes. Her voice is so smooth, angelic, and is the most relaxing calming thing that I have ever heard yet it is so deep and invokes so many different emotions within me. Alizee is truly amazing, an angel sent down from heaven to soothe us with the sweet melodies and harmonies that come from her voice.

Both are really great songs if you have the patience to get into them. At first I thought they were a little boring and didn't listen to them often, but now I adore them!

You should certainly check out Idéaliser, A Quoi Rêve Une Jeune Fille and Mes Fantômes if you haven't already - they are similarly brillaint and probably some of my favourite Lili songs of all time.

Her voice is simply gorgeous in all three.

I agree. From each of her albums, those four songs (one each) -- À quoi rêve une jeune fille (Gourmandises), Coeur déjà pris (MCE), Idéaliser (Psychédélices), and Mes phantômes (UEDS) -- are the ones that showcase her voice best.

"Beautiful" isn't the word I usually use to describe musics, but Idéaliser really deserves that title!
Tempete and A contre-courant too! D:

I know, right? I see it quite a lot in people's "least favourite Alizée songs" lists and I can never understand why! It's probably my favourite from Psychédélices (and I love that album!) It's really beautiful but in a melancholic, almost haunting way. I think it's the best vocal she's ever given!

From all the "beautiful" songs I've ever heard, Idéaliser is the best. Like MarkL said: It brings tears to the eyes.
But this kind of song is not my favourite, that's why I wouldn't say that Idéaliser is the best of Alizée's songs...
Man! Alizée sings all kind of musics! From those that can make you cry, to those that can make you jump for joy!

I admire those who can sing different styles, she goes from fast and fun to inspiring and angelic and it is much harder than it seems. Her voice has that smoothness to it and it just touches you.

It also has to do with the mood you're in, if you don't really feel like a slow song well Coeur Deja Pris isn't right at the time, maybe something like Fifty Sixty is with its incredible speed. But, I can't say one of Alizee's songs is greater than the other, maybe greater at the time because of the mood I'm in but not better overall.

I felt like that at first but it was the En Concert video of the song that made me love it. Whenever I listen it I usually watch the video too.
