That's a toughie. If I don't save one of the people, they die? If I don't save anyone, they all die? What if we have more than one kid? What if we have more than one spouse? And of course, some kids nowadays have two moms - what would they do?

Wait, what if you have two houses, and your wives, kids, and mothers are all in one house while the other one is burning down? Can we select someone from the list to run into the burning house to go get my ipod?

What if we have two ipods? Do I have to say which one I'd save? But then, what if I grab the wrong one? Or my spouse grabs the wrong one? She'd be just the type to do that. Maybe I should tell her to run in and save the wrong one, right off the bat...

Say, while I'm deciding who to save, what time of year is it? If it's winter, maybe I'd want someone to run in and grab me a coat. Or some boots! No, wait, that's silly, I could just stand closer to the fire...

Are there any marshmallows around?? What about graham crackers? Maybe one spouse runs in to get those, and another runs in to get all the fireworks out of the basement. Yeah, that's good. Shouldn't leave the fireworks in there. Especially when all the neighbors might appreciate a good, old-fashioned, semi-professional fireworks show while we're all standing around outside like that. The firefighters could help out with it, and and the show might take everyone's mind off all the screaming in the background.

Boy, can I just get a different question? This philosophy stuff is hard!

Yea, are we assuming that our family members get out and we save one object or we have to save them as well!

Save my child. Die with my spouse. At least I'd die with the woman I love, seeing as how I wouldn't be able to live if she died anyways. Maybe I'm thinking too romantically?

1 item? That sucks. It would have to be my computer. I have 169GB of Alizée photos, videos, etc.. Even if I could replace that stuff, unlike certain one of a kind Alizée items that I own, all the rest of my life (such as access to accounts) is on my computer. If I could also save one item of my Alizée collection besides the digital stuff, it would be my personally dedicated copy of the deluxe Psychédélices.
But I sure all hell hope this doesn't ever happen!

I'd like to be able to save my hard disks, but I would just get out without taking any objects with me. It would be more important to get out alive.

I can't be sure. I'd uh... Well, seeing as I really don't own anything valuable, well, for me, I'd probably not even really worry about it. Hmm... Maybe... Nope, drawing a blank.
