Jeam #1 all they way
2nd wouold be L'Alizé Then a lil taste of Toc de mac Or that order backwards, depending on the person I introduce her to. But if they don't like her it doesn't matter in the end, I'll still admit them to a hospital. |

Really depends if you can see what kind of person they are.
If they are a open-minded person, then choose any song you feel is necessary. If they are close-minded(Americans that listen to all mainstream and don't understand the concept that music can still sound good even if you can't understand what the singer is saying), then you should give them energetic songs(possibly I'm Not Twenty and I'm Fed Up if they want to understand it). If they are laid back people, then they will probably take anything...

Most English speaking people I have turned on to Alizée I have with her English songs. And if they like those then I go for her French songs. I ALWAYS start with Limelight, Im Not Twenty and Im Fed Up. Usually I will play LIB and point out that she sang it even better than Madonna did originally too.

What does this mean? I remember Alizée mentioning in one of the Mexican press conferences that there were people "beneath her house" trying to damage her, or something to that effect. I just never understood what she meant by that, could anyone shed light on this issue?

I remember over the summer I met this girl who lives in Upstate NY (which is very far from where I am despite being in the same state) and the first song I introduced her to was Moi...Lolita. She loved it. But I think what sucks is that most people I've tried to introduce Alizée to just never got into it. Even the ones that liked it at first just never really cared enough to listen to her other stuff and get to know her the way we do. It just doesn't touch them on the level that it touches most of us.
We basically ensconce ourselves in Alizée and make her a part of our lives. Sometimes I wonder if it takes a certain TYPE of person to love her the way we do.
