I wish she had those numbers in 2007 though. It seems that YouTube is what has become more popular. Lady Gaga is over a billion I think. But still, it's cool none the less. What if you had a video that had been watched a million times. That's actually a little bit incomprehensible to think of that many people, yet "she" sold 1.2 million copies of Moi... Lolita in just a few months just around the time she turned 16. That is really out of this world.

That is a buttload of views for every day! Just think...almost one-eighth of the people in New York viewed this video(I'm just making a size comparison obviously, this isn't true).

Not trying to be Debbie Downer or anything, but while 3,000 views a day is indeed a lot, there are artists that probably get that in less than an hour.
Just trying to keep things in perspective.

I think many people thought the music video was sort of a disappointment. It had 600,000 views in the first month, then not even 400,000 views in the next 7 months.

That is true, but also music videos tend to not be watched again by tye same people. Most view it just once.
