Thanks for that BlackAnthem.

A thought just came to mind just as I'm about to leave for work. I would think a coal washing plant would have a rail road line serving it to either bring coal in or out. I took a very quick look at google earth and didn't see any evidence of one. I'll have to take a closer look later on or maybe I'll look at some old pictures.Of course it's possible it didn't.

I was reading the first few pages of the thread when I came across this. You posted after showing pics you found with the tracks. Were the tracks still there Scruffy?

I couldn't see any signs of tracks.

Here's a video of me when I first drove up to the building. Sorry the camera was shaking so much. The road was in rough shape, or maybe it was just me shaking knowing the awesominity of where I was headed.
