Just sayin' I mean if I compared her to anyone else...well I can't. There isn't anyone else to compare her too. i was just saying that songs of that popularity would do.

-Everyone dialy should bug them, I'm sure you can find plently more places simple as this. My trouble with being a fan at first was finding where I could actually go out and buy the albums.
Oh, other ideas, would be be starting a super network across twitter/facebook/myspace/etc and with enough hits or whatever it'll become the hot topic and featured on main pages.

Well I'm still working on my forum promotions, mostly college forums. It's something anyone can do and it can be any kind of forum, music, sports, etc and it doesn't cost a a cent.

Right now is a real busy time of the year for me with vacation next week, then the holidays coming up, but after the first of the year I'm going to put the finishing touches on a promotion idea I earlier mentioned and that's sending dvd's to different dance studios around the country, hoping that they'll be interested in some of the distinctive dance routines created by MF. I'm hoping this type of promotion will draw in more female fans.

One thing we really need to help our efforts is something from Alizée. It's hard to promote her when she's doing very little in the way of appearences. But there has been talk of after the beginning of the year, there may be a new song, or maybe it's just going to be a single released from her album and hopefully there will be a tour, but we need her to be active for our promotional efforts to be of any good. I do think it's coming and so I will keep up my efforts.

For people out there with any video editing skills, Youtube is a great market too. Everytime a new video gets posted there, there are people who like to watch for these new videos. I also suggest being creative with the name you use for a video. That's one reason I chose A six pack of Alizee for one of the videos I made. I envisioned some good old boys, hanging around the fire place, underneath the stars, doing a search on their laptop for "six pack", and one of the hits that would be returned would be of a beautiful young French woman. How could they resist clicking on her. Sounds kind of far fetched, but maybe it isn't.

I also posted a very short video of Alizee from her performance at the Eiffel tower, when she sang J'ai pas vingt ans and just named the video "Eiffel tower", hoping that someone searching for a video of the Eiffel tower, would see in one of the hits, Alizee and once again would not be able to stop from cliking on it (this was in my early days of learning how to edit videos, so it wasn't as good by a long shot of what it could have been. I also probably should have included her name in either the title or the video, instead of just the description as I did.)

As far as what to do in the way of promotions. The main thing I can suggest is think outside the box as I tried to do with the 2 promotions I talked about. The internet is probably our most powerful tool. Figure out ways to use it to our advantage. I see new names in here and AF all the time. I'm having people subscribe to my Youtube channel on a regular basis. These are new people who for the most part our finding out about Alizée because of the internet. Promotions on a local level are something we need to keep up with too.

We are going through another very slow period where not much is happening, but we have to believe, we have to keep up our efforts. Most people here know me pretty well. If I didn't think it was worth the effort, I'd be the first one to say so. But I'm saying, don't give up the ship!
