I think that Alizee actually wouldn't mind if all of a sudden she became popular here in the US, but she has never tried to actually make it happen (i.e. traveling/tours/promotion) and probably never will. It's pretty much letting the nature take its course: if it does happen, then she probably won't try to resist it, but if it doesn't, then it's not the end of the world to her.

On the other hand, I read it somewhere that Alizee likes attention, and likes it a lot. So if enough people here show interest in her, you never know what might happen and she just might change her mind about touring/promoting here in the US.

I don't know. We'll have to see how her new album turns out. Quite honestly it would have been great if she toured a year or two ago, but too much time has passed since those albums and the new one has very sketchy details, I think if the new stuff is mostly duet the concert would totally flop in the U.S.

Wow... This threads been dormant for a while. Well anyways..

I was watching Jay Leno tonight and he had 'Paulino Rubio' as the closing artist. She sang entirely in Spanish. Now if she can get on there and sing a song in Spanish, maybe it would be possible get Alizée on there to sing a song... in either French or English...
