You may also want to try a music store that sells musical instruments and recording gear. You might find a different selection of headphones there that stores like Best Buy don't offer.
Yea I did hear they do have a heavy base, im not sure if ill like that or not.... does best buy have some that you can try?

Actually, I don't know if they have the Beats, but I know the Best Buy near me carries headphones in general. I haven't checked out which ones they have, at least not recently. I usually buy mine from a music store.

yuppers they do! Or at least they do sell them.

Lefty brought up a good point though, first, figure out if you want a more "flat" sound. If so, try Sennheiser headphones. If you want a deeper, bass-ier sound, try Bose, or Beats.

Tried them, wasn't too impressed. Really, they were good, but not nearly for the price. specially with barely ANY noise cancelling ability.

Those look like really good ones. Best suggestion I've seen in this thread.

Beats, Bose and Monster are generally overpriced for what you get. You are paying for a name. Go to a forum like Headfi.org (it's a headphone forum) and do some reasearch there.

Another great suggestion.

Honestly, if you are walking around with these, I'd find a good pair of earbuds, there ARE quality ones available.
