For some reason, I am listening these days to a lot of pop music from the 1995-2000 period...

And going against 90 per cent of the people here, I think I don't want her going back to the dancing stuff. At least, "not full throttle".
I gave it a though, and I honestly think there is absolutely no point in doing complicated choreographies for the songs in her new album.
First of all, she is not doing live concerts lately.
Second, the focus has to be on getting a good and catchy song for the first single. And to make sure that the album has two or three more good and comercial songs.
Third, she must focus in the singing and in her looks, image and style.
Four, promotion, promotion and more promotion.


For the videoclip of the single, all she would have to do is to look pretty, look straight into the camera, and melt those people's hearts out there. (We all know she can do that easily, but it is something that IMHO she didn't do properly in her last two albums).
Simple and effective. Come on, use that natural beauty while you can. No fireworks, no computer effects or dance routines required. Just some of that great Alizée beauty. Something simple and nice.

Dancing is not needed at all. It should be something secondary and not for a lot of songs... We all love the JEAM dance, but that great moment had its time, and would be really difficult to produce something similar.
I would love her to maybe just keep it more simple this time, like in her earlier "Moi Lolita" performances. Just a few steps, walks, simple moves, and a lot of eye contact with the public/camera. No need for ten backdancers, laser lights, etc...
Keep it simple, keep it good, keep it pretty. Find the right musicians, the right sound, the right style... I know we all got excited watching her in dance practices but... is dancing really that important at this point?
I would say no.

But of course, I don't have a single clue about this music business. I just want to post here my actual expectations and laugh at them later on cause I will probably change my mind 300 times about all this...

I don't know what to expect and that's the beauty of it all for me.. I've always been easily pleased when it came to Alizée anyway.

I don't think that her career would be over if it does not succeed. I can see her doing an album with covers of french artist songs, or working in a musical in France... Her career would not be over... But of course it would not be the same for us anymore.
In the other hand, maybe she retires if it is not worthy anymore...

As for the tattoos... everytime she has a new one, for me is like she is killing a little bit the image of the early years Alizée. That Alizée is gone, of course, but for me each tattoo, makes me realise that and makes it more obvious. It is silly, but that is what happens to me.
The good thing is that the music, theimages and the memories will be with us forever, no matter what she does in the future.

Another factor for her happiness and careless mood nowdays, can be the fact that her idaughter is not a baby anymore, she is in school and maybe in extra school activities, as well, so Alizée can have more free-time for her.
I am being captain obvious saying that, but it is something that just came through my mind now.

Good god man, are you not open to anything new? I love her 4th album way more than the first two. I want Alizee to sing naturally, beautifully, and romantically. She makes great music on her own, thats the beauty of Lilly.

She is almost 30 yrs old now, she aint the sexy teenager she once was at 16 that attracted all the pedofiles, lol.....she aint gonna do all those trendy popish songs anymore, all singers move away from that as their careers materialize. She still Alizee, she is still sexy, but her style will change, I love that bout her. IMO, she never liked that sexy carefree image in the first place.

Her album debuts in October in France, late November in USA.
