Soooo 1,500 is bullSh*t...

Every box should have a little metal piece with the number of each box that read: "Limited edition 1000 boxes - 0056/1000" so every person has a number on his/her box.
Not that that it is very important, but it is the way that should be done with limited edition things like this.

If you order 1,000 Tattoos and ship 1,000 Tattoos how can there be 1,572 sets made ?

572 will be missing them...

Maybe it's only that they've ordered 1,000 so far? The email says that the boxes are still being manufactured.

Thats why I don't post here anymore...I say things and then Im told I am making stuff up or dont know what I am talking about... If you remember I am was one of the first people whos said that box set was going to be delayed...why is that that I wonder...

I have had the pleasure of getting to know you and talking to you, so I don't doubt what you say. But the fact that you don't post here much anymore adds to people seeing you as a guy that comes out of nowhere with information nobody else or very few has/have, and they doubt you. Anyway all I'm saying is that as you say, they've ordered 1,000 tattoos from you as of now. Perhaps as the rest of the things get made, they will order more, in which case, I hope you will post here again to let us know.
