i like the album, but i am afraid it's not for everyones taste. The young and horny want her to sing stupid shit and shake her ass like in the old days and the mature don't take her seriously. I hope it wont be one of those albums praised by critics but ignored by fans

Just to kill the rumor, Alizée has not had any cosmetic surgery up there.
Alizée in most cases wears cloths (Like the baby doll dresses in the past) that toned down that part of her body. If they look different it's because she has put on a few kilo's and isn't as muscular and toned as she was at eighteen. What I have heard of this album so far I like it. Once I get the box set I'll be able to put my spin on the album. Yippi, my box set just arrived at 11:00 am. Edit: Number 0117 No Autographed postcard.

Number 814 reporting in. Listening to it now, sounds cool so far.
10-ans: a rave-up in the spirit of the Setzer Orchestra Je Veux Bien: rising chord structures lend a rather carefree aspect to what I suspect is a more serious song than it appears on the auditory surface. I like just listening first, and then translating later to get the full meaning. Mon Chevalier: reminds me a bit of Quelqu'un m'a dit, and extends the multi-syllabic repacking of lyrics. I like the idea of Lili getting more complex, mature and varied with enunciation. Good move. ...that's as far as I've heard yet. It's a charming, summery record so far. No autographed pic for me either. Hope scruffy's successful.

Spent some time listening to the whole album.
Not thrilled with 1. La Guerre En Deutelles 2. Jeune Fille 3. Mon Chevalier Nothing really sticks out, the songs are just not my type of music. The other eight or 73% of the Album I like at various levels and gets a thumbs up from me.
