I am on my mobile device, so cannot post an image, but my favorite author has a new book coming out on June 12, 2012 (Tuesday).
"XO" Jeffery Deaver This novel is part of his Katheryn Dance Novel Series, and this one takes place in Los Angeles, California. When a POPSTAR discovers she is being stalked, threatened, and sought out by a serial killer, crime specialist Katheryn Dance is called upon to hunt down the person of interest. Also sold with the book will be a CD of a new song by a certain popstar, new release (not sure who it is) For more information goto... www.bn.com/books, Jeffery Deaver

Quote:
Last book I read was J. K. Rowling's new novel "The Casual Vacancy" I have to admit I expected something different but even if it had its weaker moments I really enjoyed it (and it was pretty depressive at the end..) It's hard to describe what this book is about... let's say it's about a small town and when one of the citizens dies all hell breaks loose, it's about the problems in the community, prejudices, well-respected citizens against social outsiders, parents against their children... not everyone will like it but it's definitely a book that you could give a chance...

I have read the Kite Runner and loved it and I personally met Khaled Hossenini about 5 years ago; he is a very nice guy. I promised myself I would read more of his books especially A Thousand Splendid Suns, but I never got the chance.

that's a great book. I'm totally in love with it.
EDIT: Currently reading "Inferno" (Dan Brown)... well I'm somewhere in the middle of the book and so far it is better than "The Lost Symbol" which was really disappointing. I had to force myself through the last third of the book or so... Last edited by Jenny_HRO87; 04-10-2014 at 02:29 PM.. |

Jenny, I too liked it very much.
Now I'm reading Before Adam by Jack London and even though I've only just begun, I bet I can recommend it. Really, I look up to the writer for he could perfectly tell a story from a perspective of a being that's not acknowledged in language. He describes with human words images of animal mind and it's so fucking awesome.
