Default Alizée and others sing for Pope.

Alizée and a few other singers with Corsican ties sing for Pope during his visit to Corsica.

It was a real honour, for the Pope to meet Alizée! haha

There is actually some political significance that the Pope chose to visit Corsica, but chose to decline the invitation to visit the re-opening of Notre Dame cathedral in Paris, due to some political conflicts between the church and the current government. I don't understand the situation fully, and I don't want to get into a political or religious discussion here, but there was much discussion about it in certain circles of French media.

Either way, Alizée and many Corsicans were very happy to be able to take part in this important historic event, and it got a lot of very positive coverage in the French media, and is yet another sign of her continued relevance and somewhat of a "comeback" or slow increase in how much she is being featured in French press and TV recently

I noticed in one of the pictures taken with the two, he did seem captivated by her. I wonder if he knew beforehand who she was?
