The Philadelphia Eagles have won the SuperBowl over the Kansas City Chiefs !

so the Movie to recommend is "Silver Linings Playbook" !

I no longer have a team; as I do not like the Kneeling ! However my perception of the season is that the Chiefs were weakening for a while ( due to injuries ? ) while the eagles were gaining strength at the right time !

I only watch highlights of the sport to get the best plays anymore !

It was unusual for Mahomes to throw two interceptions as he usually does not do that ? But the offensive line of the Chiefs could not hold back the defensive players of the eagles ! Some people say that the sport is getting "fixed" almost like Wrestling ! Ha ! Or the NFL wanted Taylor Swift in the Super Bowl because she is dating Travis Kelce the Tight end of the Chiefs ? I do not know !

If she breaks up with Travis; then I might Propose to her ! Ha ! ( one of my famous Proposals ! )

Two Interesting movies about "indiana jones" style investigations !

They are "National Treasure" and "National Treasure, the book of secrets" ; both with Nicolas Cage in them.

I was reminded of them because President Trump had sent the Resolute Desk out of the oval office to be "refinished " or for some other reason ? ! In the meantime he is using a CEO desk gifted to the government by its CEO of the C&O Railroad ( Chesapeake and Ohio ) !

The National Treasure is about the Declaration of Independence secured in a Vault in washington DC. the premise is that someone had put a map in invisible ink on the back of it; with the location of the Treasure of the Knights Templers on it ! So some thieves determine to steal the declaration while Cage and some good guys try to keep it out of their hands.
Cage buys a couple of souvenir copies of the declaration at the Gift Shoppe and puts the real declaration in a souvenir tube. Meanwhile the crooks come along and steal his souvenir copy of the Dec as the real thing with a fake map on the back of it ? ( at least this is what i remember ). at long last the Archivist girl manages to get the real Dec back into the protected vault case and all is well. I forget if they find the treasure of the Knights Templers ?

The second movie is about clues to another treasure and one part of a clue is located in a disguised drawer of the oval office Resolute Desk. So a girl; kinda like Tulsi Gabbard has to distract a white house aid, giving them a tour of the oval office, long enough for Cage to get the clue out of the oval office desk ! IF I ever meet her, I might propose to Tulsi ! Ha ! )
So they are interesting movies to see if you like mysteries !

I saw the original; so I don't plan to see this one !

The evil Queen consults her Magical Mirror .

Mirror, Mirror; On the Wall,

The Mirror usually says it is the Queen !

However, today the Mirror says; I am sorry My Queen;
The Fairest of them All, is the Girl Corsican Alizee ; and the Fairest in Goodness and Mercy !
What she screams ! What kind of name is Alizee ! She is a French Girl, says the Mirror.
I shall have to do something about her, screams the evil Queen.

I don't think that will work; for you see she is beloved of the Fairies of the Field, who consider her one of their own,
and so they protect her with their Magic there !

Scary Antartica Movies

The Thing from Another world a 1950 movie

and The Thing a 1982 sort of remake of the thing ! Kurt Russell Wilford Brinley a good job by Russell as the Helicopter Pilot !

I do not recommend you watching them at night or alone !

Basically scientists find a UFO in the ICE; but the alien is not friendly !

I am reminded of these because there are reports of trouble at an Antartica base !

THEM ! ( Ants become radiated and become the size of say Buffalo,
so they have to be eliminated before they spread ! )

Creature From The Black Lagoon ( Scientists stumble upon a prehistoric pre-man Aqautic creature in the Amazon area )
He wants the girl in the bikini for his mate )
The guy has a pretty good "creature" outfit and is a pretty good swimmer; because he has to have a small oxygen tube inside his suit for the swimming scenes !

also the 1995 movie Empire Records ! I remember it because I want to propose to both Renee Zellweger and Live Tyler ! Ha !

Not too bad for 1950's movies !

She turned me down saying she was too young to get married ! Also she was under contract and she wouldn't live in America only in Corsica or France ! I told her I loved her completely but she cried ( I didn't expect that ? and she put me out the door ! ) I still love her completely !

Hidalgo ( recommend it ! A Half-Indian wins a Horse race with his horse-never count an Indian out ! )
Joe Dirt ( a crazy kind of movie )
Doc Hollywood ( a doc ends up the doctor in a small town )
Dragnet ( I used to watch the original on TV )
Anacondas ( kinda gory if it is the one I remember )
( I had another but it was too political )
Dillinger ( the criminal, he once fashioned a 45 out of Bar Soap and blackened it with shoe polish, then he pulled it on the police officer and got him to open the cell door and then stole the sheriff's car to make his escape ! )

Clueless ( I love the girl, but she is a vegetarian and I gots to have a whopper occasionally ! )

The Quick and the Dead ( Gene Hackman as an outlaw who takes over a town )

Val Kilmer was an excellent actor; I am reminded of his movies because he died recently !

He is famous for his portrayal of Doc Holiday in "Tombstone" !
Also he was great in "The Ghost and the Darkness" two man-eating lions .
He was also in "Heat" where outlaws take down a bank; but it goes bad and they end up in a shootout with the Police. !
He was in the "Salton Sea" a region in the US.
He was of course in "Top Gun" with Tom Cruise !
And also a lot of other movies which escape me at the moment !

Another movie I remember was "2012" ;
sort of the end of the world and all the nations build Arcs to survive !

I am reminded because the government has closed Crater Lake in the states; so you cannot go there ! ( I have never been ) But one wonders why they should "Close" a Lake ? Of course we are having a lot of earthquakes lately and they say possible some volcanoes will blow; so maybe that has something to do with it ? One never knows what our government is doing; but they use our tax dollars to do it; and we find out years later ? !

We seem to be having a lot of bad weather lately. I am glad I am on the east coast; as my "mind over matter" has kept a lot of this away from me ! I always try to dump anything on other states instead of myself ! Ha !

Another movie I remember; because the little actress in it is reported has died.

It is kind of a Quirky movie, but nice !

Jessica Alba in "An Invisible Sign" Alba is one of those women who

is automatically Sexy ! I would propose if she was not already married ! Ha !

She was in Sin City as well as Sin City Two !

In the movie she is a teacher, who has to work through some psychological problems;
but manages to do so finally! The little girl was Sophie Nyweide, I think !
I don't know why so many people die young anymore ? !
"To the world, they were just numbers. But to us, they were invisible signs."

The little girl's keeper said "I don't really want her !" But Alba says I do ! Why don't your let me have her as my daughter ? !
