A new movie out; in the John Wick universe

Ana De Amas as the Ballerina ! I pick up on the name as I think she is French and i like the French; however she is Cuban-Spanish and managed to escape from Cuba to Madrid and start to make movies.

And so she has made Ballerina. These aren't just Ballerinas; they are trained assassins ; so you do not mess with them; so it is one I will have to see or stream in the future !

It is a funny case of a movie; because usually the studio says the Director is taking too long, he is using too much money and it is going to be a bomb ! But in this case the studio liked the rushes; so they actually ghave him more money and more time to put in more action ! so here is the trailor !

I don't know how, but somehow I've managed to miss all the John Wick movies which is kind of funny because I love Kenau Reeves as an actor and a person, but over the years, I've grown tired of all the shoot outs and fight and chase scenes in action movies. In the end, you know whether it's Tom Cruise or Jason Bourne or John Wick, the star is going to survive. So when many people want to cut to the chase, I want to cut to the story.
My brother lives about 45 miles from me. About once every month or two, I'll go down to his house. We'll go out to dinner or watch a game then at night, we'll watch a movie. Well one night, he puts on "Ambulance" which is just one non ending chase scene. I wanted to take a long walk off a short pier.
Sometime later, I related what happend to my sister. She must've dropped a dime on me because the next time I saw my brother, we started talking about the John Wick's series and he warned me there were some long shoot outs in it. Never trust your sister.
I guess I'll just have to watch "Hot Shots" again.

Yes I have felt the same lately as there is too much shootout in the Keanu movies and I have missed most of them, although I saw the rushes !
Alizee is Corsican and so she is like a Ballerina in Training ! Ha ! I am sure she could go Full Ballerina if she had too ! Ha !
How nice to have a brother ! I only had sisters three, now deceased. I did not expect the younger one to die last year, as she took the Virus shots and a Booster before I could tell her not to, had a stroke, got diabetes bad, then infections and died from the infections. So I alone survive ! Although a friend told me; You are too mean to die ! Ha ! But I am not a mean guy, even though I was in the service !
I never had to have a Cat; as my sisters had all the cats, so I could pet them if I wanted to ! I only had dogs !
My middle sister , a year older, always seemed to fight with me; I guess because we were contemporary ? When we got older we sort of had a Cease-Fire when we were adults ! Ha !

I have lots of nieces and nephews; but they are in Virginia and Pennsylvania; so I don't see them that much and they probably think of me as an old guy; but myself I still think of myself as only 30 ! Ha !

An excellent movie of Keanu Reeves is "Constantine"; where he is sort of an entity caught between heaven and hell and manages to cheat lucifer in a bargain !

I got something done in my life so I splurged and streamed another movie.
While I like movies; they are a waste of time until I complete my books !
Which was Moonfall ( a 2022 movie ) A Science fiction movie.
There is a lot going on in this movie; almost too much ? !
The Moon is falling out of Orbit , so NASA send a shuttle to find out why ?
Along the way we come across bad AIs, Aliens, Structures, and people in conflict.
The military want to destroy the Moon with missiles of course; but that would create hundreds of Asteroids, so not a good solution !
So NASA creates a 2nd desperate mission. Then there are criminals who are trying to steal people's vehicles guns, oxygen, food, etc.
I didn't really like the movie that much; perhaps I wanted to see better known actors in it ? !

An aside ! Dakota Johnson, the actress from Fifty Shades has broken up with her boyfriend, so she is available for one of my famous proposals; even if I am somewhat older ! Hurrah ! I like her face and she is an excellent actress !

I couldn't sleep so I watched a movie ? !
But don't as it is kind of Bad !
It is Red 2 ( apparently there was a Red; but that may not be good , either ) It is a 2013 movie !

Everybody in this movie is Old ! Don't get me wrong; as I like all of them; it is just they are getting too old to make a move !
I like John Malkoviche, but he is extremely old here !
Also Bruce Willis is not as good as he could be, as he is getting old, too !
Helen Mirren is old now, but she comes off better than the others !
The bright spot in the movie for me was Mary Louise Parker as she is still kind of sexy !
The mad Scientist is Anthony Hopkins ! Along the way lots of guys get killed as they try to stop a bomb from going off ! Anthony Hopkins is the scariest actor in the world, as people still believe he is Hannibal Lector !
Lee Byung-Hung is a martial arts expert who is paid to do Bruce Willis in !
Catherine Zeta-Jones is a Russian Major-General, but she gets shot-I didn't like that !
I would say avoid the movie unless you are an absolute fan of the actors; otherwise you are wasting your life !
I guess everybody concerned needed a pay check. It is a good script; but needs young actors !
