Lots A Love
I have so fallen in love with Alizee when I discovered her June 2006 that I love her enough to go back to 2000...

I love her voice.
I love her smile. I love her personality (as much as I've seen in the clips). As a human being that has touched me in music and song, I hold agape love for Alizée the same I would for all of you in this forum. As for being "in love" with her in the normal sense of the phrase, I must say no. That kind of love only comes by getting to know someone beyond the music and the clips. And given my current state and status (as well as hers) in the world it is not the type of love I would wish to pursue or entertain. The best I would ever hope for would be a mutual friendship, but better odds I think of being struck by lightening as the gulf of age, ocean, language and celebrity is of such unfathomable depths as to be almost endless....if not indeed so. |

Here I am at work and have not been able get anything done all morning. All I can think about is this woman from whom I'm an unknown. It's like a roller coaster ride, where one moment I think I've waned and then out of no where the fever of the passion erupts. It's more like admiration and limerence, although I've never really thought of Alizée in any sexual manner. Just like last week where I had a lucid dream that I happened to have come across Alizée. We had a nice little discussion. (BTW, she's very nice and very personable, and spoke excellent english with an adorable accent. ) What I most vividly remember is asking how she was enjoying her tour. She said that she was happy but missed her family and wished to be back home. My heart ached for her. After we said our farewells, I turned around and noticed that the person I had spoken with was the younger Alizée for the Gourmandises video and not the mature woman I had initially ran into. On a side note, I've been a little depressed lately here and there for some reason. Is it terrible that all I want to listen to are the slower tempo Alizée songs while in this state? All throughout this morning the song Amelie Ma Dit is going through my head...
