Alizée's appeal is primarily to the heart -- very much the same as Amelie's appeal to you -- and it is something that reaches out to both genders equally. The sex appeal is secondary, and I contend that her musical appeal is also secondary, even though both can be very strong. There have been several threads in here in which people were expressing bewilderment as to what it is about Alizée that's so captivating. Her voice? Enya's is just as good, perhaps better, and I could name several others too. Her beauty? Plenty of hot babes out there; nothing unique about Alizée's anatomy or facial features, although she's certainly lovely. Her sex appeal? Plenty of that to choose from, too. She doesn't play any instruments and she doesn't write music or lyrics, although either of those may have changed in the last four years. There are many other artists who are virtuosos at one or both and would put her in the shade. So the draw is a mystery. But what I believe it is, is the power of love. Everything else -- the voice, the dancing, the beauty, everything -- is just enhancement to that. We're all captivated by it, even when we think we're captivated by something else, whether it's her voice or her hip movements. ![]() Anyway, I'm not sure how you got the idea that I was calling you a lesbian when I was in fact saying the exact opposite, but whatever. Is it clearer now? |

![]() Deepwater, how can I make it anymore clearer to you? I'm just a fan....that's all. If Alizee were to come out with a new album tomorrow I'd buy it. If Alizee were to die tomorrow I would say 'That's too bad.' and then go on with my life. Please don't try and read anymore into it.

![]() I think you're right, and I also think it's probably not remediable. It seems to come up a lot when Rocket and I try to talk, regardless of subject, which is unfortunate, but there it is.

![]() This is simple. If people haven't figured it out already, it's down below.
----------------------------------------------------------------------- There's different levels of being a fan. Simple. Some are fans of her voice only. Some are fans of her looks only. Some are fans of her sex appeal only. Some are fans of her personality only. Some are fans of a combination. Some are fans of all. Some lust because she's hot. Some don't. It's so simple yet it seems that people don't realise that others can like different aspects. Hell, I don't even know if "fan" is the right word to use! If MM isn't sexually attracted to her, does it mean that she's not a fan or that Alizée isn't sexually attractive? If Rocket says she's a fan, why isn't she a fan? Why does it have to be more? Why is being a fan being based on how far you take it? (Joining a fansite, posters on your walls, having every single commercial product there is). I consider myself a fan. Do I have every single commercial product produced? No... Do I find Alizée sexually attractive? Yes. However, do I lust over her? No. Do I realise that others may lust over her and may not find her sexually attractive? Yes. I may be implying that the lot of you don't realise that people are different... (lol) But obviously, it's knowledge you're born with. At the same time, some people like to justify their actions and/or feelings. Some like to question why others don't feel the same way. Even I question it sometimes ![]() I'm preaching "Free Thought/Speech" here, so it's ironic/hypocritical that I'm telling you all to realise that people are different and I'm telling you to accept it. Not 2 years ago, I was a bitch of a teen. Things slowly changed. Alizée came into my life and now I'd like to think I'm wiser and a better person. I understand people more (As much as I'd luuuurve to live in a world with only me ![]() With that said, me getting to know people better... >>>http://moi-alizee.us/forums/showthre...5090#post35090 <<< Peace ! ![]()

![]() Ok I see, there are different camps.
But... Shouldn't camps, y'know, ... fight each other? and determine who is in fact the superior camp? Like, camp-off's, or battle of the camps, to see who is in fact the alpha camp! I mean, without hierarchy, there's just chaos ![]() Just thinking here that's all. And certainly, a female Alizee fan is definately not necessarily gay. But imagine how hot that would be though. Again just thinking here, nevermind. Last edited by AlphaQuattro; 04-02-2007 at 07:37 AM.. |
