"If we hold on together"
I discovered this song in 1988. It was the song sung at the end of the credits for Land Before Time. I thought it was a beautiful song, but it never got much play. Funny that it was recently chosen by one of the Idol singers, and I even heard it on the Radio tonight! Of course Dianna Ross does such a wonderful job, so I have mixed feelings because you're always compared to the one who sings it originally. But it would be nice to hear Alizée sing it...in French or English! In fact, a French adaption might do very nicely. I can't do a full translation, but some of the words seem to lend nicely from a rhyme standpoint, with a bit of tweaking. |

Bit late, but I only thought of this recently.
I'd like to hear an Alizée version of Moonlight Shadow by Mike Oldfield. I actually have the original from 1983 on cassette tape. It's a little before my time, but I used to listen to it endlessly years ago. I rembered it two days ago, and it was actually quite relaxing hearing it again. Got me through a French exam. The track has a really ACC-like feel, in that it's laid back and sounds rather mysterious, almost... ethereal. I played it over the ACC video and it fits quite well. It's quite similar to the style of her second album. If you haven't heard it I'd really recommend it. There have been a few remixes over the years, but the original is the best. - 'The last that ever she saw him Carried away by a moonlight shadow He passed on worried and warning Carried away by a moonlight shadow Lost in a riddle that Saturday night Far away on the other side He was caught in the middle of a desperate fight And she couldn't find how to push through' - gonna sound pretty weird if you haven't heard it, but it fits with the video if you use your imagination.

^^ i dont think alot of people would agree with Alizee singing a duet with Christina Aguilera, myself included.
she would make a lovely duet with Kurt Cobain singing Lithium though |

Alright, so this is a doo-wop song from the late '50, and it's sung by men, but I love the song and think it could fit Alizée's style - it'd sound awesome with her singing it:
"Earth Angel" by the Penguins

I'd have her sing Brahms' Lullaby just to see what kind of choreography she'd come up with for THAT.
