video section - problem with macs (safari)
hey brad, i just noticed the videos in the video sections can't be watched with macs. i am using safari, apple's browser and it won't let me click the thumbnail image to access the video. hope you get it fixed so mac users can access the videos on this site.

i have often wondered about that. does safari support any of the flash codecs?
the videos are encoded in flash, so if it doesn't there is nothing I can do |

yea it doesn't have a problem with flash, i can view the videos fine if i go to the discussion thread and click the URL you put there. the problem is the thumbnails in the video section that you click to access the videos are unclickable on safari. when you move the mouse over the thumbnail, it shows the hand icon that means it's a link. however if you try to click it, the hand disappears and the click does nothing.

i think the problem may be related to the different image of mouseover not being linked.
and yea i can right click and get the open link in a new tab command, but yea it'd be better if it was a direct click link. |

I got you... I don't know what happened, but it was working ok up untill this website was refreshed (updated). I didn't want to complain, but I think Brad appreciates that you told him.

so it is something that started recently? Also, there isn't a different image for the mouseover. It just removes the transparency on the image when you mouseover.
Any other problems with the website that you notice on safari? |

Only other thing I've noticed: Is that after the update to this website, you get disconected (loged out) real quick if your not active. Before you could be conected for ever untill you disconected (loged out) or even a while after you would quit safari. I know this because I would go back before, and I would still be connected.

The work around that I have been using is Click on the "[Discuss this Video]" link then click the link on that page to watch the video :-)
