Well, the BEST Sci-Fi Series of all time is over now.. with 10 seasons, Longer than X-Files, and 2 movies coming out soon.

I recently met some of the cast from Stargate (last year's Labor Day Weekend) at Dragon Con (www.dragoncon.org) and i hear Richard Dean Anderson will be there this year.. when i go this year, i will post pics of it.

i love the television show, i wish show wasn't cancelled, and thought the actors were awesome and talented sadly only watched the last few years and never seen any movies.

that's a shame, the first 4 seasons were pretty good (loved Micheal Shanks long hair) seasons 5-7 were just awsome, seasons 8-10 owned.. especially the beginning of seaon 9 i believe, where the Daedulis (typo?) gets the crap beat out of it and is blown up...

but you should subscribe to NetFlix and get the Seasons and Movie.. it's worth it...

Well, anyone who watched the show and can't wait for the game to come out, here are some links to help sate your desire.

Now on to the uncompleted games.
First of course would be the commercial WIP, Stargate: Worlds

And here is a non-commercial game that is in progress: Stargate: The New Enemy
By the way, don't be alarmed if the Stargate: The New Enemy home page doesn't load, the site occasionally goes down, and will doubtless be back online in a few days.

Next up: Game Mods.

This first one is probably the most completed mod, and probably the best looking: Stargate: Special Unit -a complete Unreal Tournament conversion.

Also here is a space only mod for Star Trek: Bridge Commander: Stargate Ship Pack, part 1 and Stargate Ship Pack, part 2.
Note that you will need to download both parts for the mod to work correctly.

Now for the last part, the only other Stargate game ever completed, based in the original movie. If you don't know of the original movie, check it out here.
As for the game, it is a Sega Genesis game, so to play it you will need an emulator. I'm not 100% sure if it is legal to download and play however, so I will only post a link to information on the game. If you would like to try to download it, google the ROM and make sure it is legal first.

The show was really good when Richard Dean Anderson was there. He added a very funny quality to the show that it lost when he left. I think they should have ended it at season 8 when he left the show full time. They had wrapped up all of the story lines very nicely.

Then they had to make the next 2 seasons and introduce the 'Ori' or whatever, I don't know. It just seemed fitting to me, if they would have ended it after season 8.

I completely agree with you Brad, I think that Richard Dean Anderson really made the show 'great!', without him, it was just 'good'.
I didn't like the new characters they brought in after season eight, except for maybe General Landry.

the only thing Stargate related that ive seen was the movie, when my dad took me to go see it like 15 years ago. pretty damn good movie, but ive never seen the show, and whoever has and actually follows it is a freakin dork!!
