hmm i just checked and i can't see any fishnet stockings during toc de mac. are you sure? can you post a screenshot to prove it? i guess it could be stockings, but i can't see how you can see fishnet there...

They effectively smooths the net pattern and it disappears. Especially digicamera's noise reduction smooths it out. In DVD they are well visible in some scenes, whilst time to time they seems to be gone (tho impossible to say if they really are gone).
