Oh relax, marik. I want to make sure Alizée is respected just as much the next serious, slightly over-protective fan. But, there's no denying that Alizée is both beautiful and incredibly sexy. I know these aren't new to most of us, but to quote Alizée herself:
"...Anything can be sexy, except vulgarity." So... if you want to go so far as to call Alizée "vulgar," I think you'd have some disagreement around here. Anyway, to throw a few other Alizée quotes at ya': "A girl only has to be in a miniskirt to be treated like a tease." "Liking to seduce isn't a sin" "Certain magazines who have recently published photos of me accused me of intentionally showing my underwear. That's absolutely false! So, to keep the bad tongues quiet, at the end of my song 'J'ai pas 20 ans,' I lifted up my skirt out of provocation. Having said that, I was wearing boxers!" Bigdan, you are one Lucky Bastard

I'm guessing that in France "boxers" mean something very different than what it does here in the States?

I've seen that quote before, though, and wondered how she could be wearing boxers under that incredibly short skirt. So I think it must be mistranslated. Can we get the original French somewhere?
Edit: BTW I couldn't answer the poll, because you didn't have a "not yet" option.

Then I'm fairly certain that what I'm seeing are definitely not boxers.

RMJ, boxers would have extended a considerable distance down her thighs, and been clearly visible under that miniskirt without lifting it up or even doing any bends; it would have looked ridiculous and I seriously doubt she would have performed that way. So I think that word must be mistranslated, or perhaps she said "boxers" when she meant something else, like, I don't know, opaque panties? The kind that wouldn't show anything more than you can see in any J'en Ai Marre performance? Just guessing, but "boxers" can't be right.

Thought it's folly to challenge RMJ, I'm gonna have to side with Deepwaters here. Alizée couldn't have been wearing boxers as we know them, because we'd see them a lot.

My mind blocks her from my dreams...cause if i dream about her i might stay in dreamland forever...
About the underwear thing...thats absurd, when you go to the beach you can see everybodys underwear and nobody minds...its just trash magazines and religious fanatics who really care about that stuff.

Except that Alizée was keeping a sorta-clean image through the MCE age. Showing her underwear would have been a bigger thing then.
