Actually, many of the dances in WOW are dances that are based off real dances. Someone at Blizzard must have come across the JEAM video and found it interesting and decided to use that as the Nightelf dance.

Then what you are really saying, is that someone at Blizzard stole the dance and put it in WOW, but what i mean by that is that the timing on the nf dance matches Alizees perfect.

Lol all of the dances in WoW are based on dances that area already out there, none of them are original, they are all copied dances.

It's not theft, you can't copyright a way to move your muscles. You can't patent jogging. That's just the way it is, and I feel that it's very fair. Blizzard using Alizée's dance was certainly good for her career, as that's how most people discover her, so she's going to have a larger international fanbase than if the dance hadn't been used.

Sorry about that. I can get carried away when it comes to politics. Debates are something I do for fun, and when politics are the discussion I can go on for hours. I read politics for fun so I have a lot to talk about when they are the subject. Once again sorry, and I will try really hard to keep the political debates at bay.

Moe, I love how you added that completely generic wish to the end of your post to make it on-topic .

I think Alizée’s record company will have a lot to say as to whether she comes to North America or not. It will need to make business sense to them. If she does come, I would expect it to be TV appearances rather than a concert tour. She might just hit Canada, the US and Mexico in one trip. They need to make sure her music is readily available to North America, even if it’s through internet sales. And it would help to get some airplay for her music and videos.

It may depend on us fans as well. We need to make sure that every last one of us who can, buy her singles and albums. If the record company and Alizée see a genuine and tangible interest over here, the chances are better for us. I think it’s still a long shot though.

Yeah, I dunno....if Kelly Clarkson could fizzle so bad this year, I know I have no understanding of the hype machine required to succeed in the American pop charts market.

Paulina Rubio had a little success about 5 years back crossing over from the Mexican charts in English, but that was a dance-driven crossover I think.
