Alizée in Canada

As it stands...her old or, rather, previous recordings are her base. There is plenty of creative room for concert re-mixes to put a triumphant to spin on these and her return. But right now...she does not have much of a base to do a concert solely based on new stuff, no matter her present mentality, nor would it be encompassing wise, all things considered, for eager first time Alizee attendees and all the rest.

That's true, Leo. My reasoning, though, was that because there isn't enough new material yet to make such a base, therefore we won't be seeing a concert tour for a couple of years yet, and hence there's no urgency about persuading her to make a N. America tour.

Actually, I'm expecting she will, if her new albums do well. But not yet, obviously.

guys, it doesn't have to be a concert for her to make appearances in foreign countries. she only sang couple songs when she went to korea for example. it was more to publicize herself and promote her int'l album and feature a small showcase rather than sing all of her songs.

I believe that Alizee is very aware of the cult-like adoration of her fans and will likely do a concert in slightly smaller venues than normal, if needed, to test the waters. A smaller venue, of sorts, as far as preparation goes, promoters, etc ... may simply be a series of TV appearances or the like.

That may show but if she made a appearance on a tv show that may show but if she did a consert it would relaly show that poeple still like her even though she was gone for 2-3 years and now she comes back.

I would like to see her do some small events. Also, I would love to hear her perform some of her older songs to see if they sound any different now that she is even more mature and confident.

I think there is plenty of room and interest for a concert. The old and the new, as a mix, are a driving force of its own. Throw in the media hype..and you have an instant frenzy a-buzzin' !!

I agree, the Mylene/Boutonnat combination was part of the reason why Alizee had reached such popularity. The songs and the composition was very well done and well composed, just go listen to or see the Avant Que L'ombre Live if want to see recent Mylene/Boutant material, the composition is really beautiful. Mylene/Boutonnat are veterans in the industry, they know what works and what doesn't in the industry. Don't know if Alizee will reach such heights without them. I mean they were part of what made the Alizee we all know, the dresses, the style, the music.

Well the only thing that she would have to do is get on a plane and come over here and just land, then she would well known by people here, and all she did was just fly here and land thats how well known she is here in North America at least.
