I'm perfectly happy that we don't have a proper full version yet, of either MJ or 50/60, and I hope it stays that way until release. It would be nice if Alizée could at least avoid getting her new single completely pirated until it's played on the radio once.
That's one of the things that frustrates me about all those people whining and crying thinking they're going to make Sony switch which song comes out as a single first. None of them have even heard a finished version of the song they're complaining about! That, and they clearly have no comprehension of the amount of work and effort that goes in to the release process. By the time that announcement was made official last Tuesday, publicity material, marketing documents, and even the manafacture of the discs themselves were well under way, and possibly just about finished. "Plz chng ur mind!!!lol1" is laughable.

I'm curious as to how people generally promote their singles. I've never really payed attention before.
Will promotion, such as ads (commercials), posters etc. be released before or after the first radio play? How does it usually work?
