Could you invite me over? maybe, afterwards we could have a pillow fight.

*must resist urge to make innuedos*

sorry for the comment, but what do you expect guys to say when they're near computers. but seriously, whoever is your boyfriend must have some nice perks (no pun intended).

What else matters ? Monitor is meant to be watch. It's critical part of computer (and TV is critical part of "home theater"). It has to be as good as you can get (the money is the limiting factor in 99.9% cases).

Yeah well, It's practical for thieves, I guess.

Oh noes ! Such a awful sound ! And when you hear it once a month it's so horrible...

Hell... Even my A/V amplifier makes bigger noise when it's relay turns on when powering it on.

Like... this ? (sorry, I did not bother set up the camera settings for the photo... but you should be able to see everything relevant in it...)

None of them can get even close actual 2ms response time.

5ms LCDs has actual pixel response time of around 20ms. 2ms LCDs even in the optimist guess has real pixel response time of time 10ms but like much higher.

That 2ms is nothing but marking speak. It has no real value. It only tells you that it should be slightly faster than one that has 5ms in it's specs...

Mostly true.

By any chance, are you thief ? Since I don't think you need to move TV quite often...

I do move it twice a year, when I leave home and come back to home. It weight roughly as much as Lili would weight, and I don't see that as a problem. I would happily carry her, too.

If it's CRT (or at least DLP projector), then yeah, it's nice.

I went with DLP, and it only weighs 78 lbs. Much better than the LCD or Plasma counterparts.
