I don't find them to be anything special. Of course, that's when they're singing, not rapping. When they're rapping, it's not music, so there isn't even a point...

It could very well be that Alizée doesn't want to put fans in her top 12, so she put anything else.

Edit, well for the most part she's put people who worked on the album in her top 12, see Wikipedia. For me they're still in the top twelve by the way. I find it hard to believe that she would just put a random band that she happens to like in her list, but that's just me.

hmm, i cant see alizee doing a collaboration with the gorillaz. though madonna does it pretty well and puts on one hell of a show. easy to see why she wants to sing with her.

just remember what happened to the last pop singer who sang with madonna on stage..ok nevermind. sorry to even bring that up. you can slap me.

yeah but thats a totally different arena. thats french rap, where as gorillaz is rock music mixed in with american rap.

but she likes eminem. maybe she could bust a freestyle with him on that mtv show with snoop d-o double g

I'm curious when she said that. At some other point she said she didn't like rap. In another interview I remember her saying that she liked everything except techno, which made her head hurt.

Have you listened to much of Puccino's stuff, though? If they had said, I dunno, someone like MC Solaar, I could picture that. But him... guess I'll just have to wait and hear it. The Gorillaz at least have that rock element. Not saying I think she's worked with them, it would just be no more surprising to me than Oxmo.

Yeah, I noticed that Gorillaz logo yesterday also. I thought it was someone in the band that happened to like her and get on her Myspace first. The mystery of Alizee is still growing
