probably not much. it was most likely Alizee who gave the friends request since No Doubt was known around the world many times over. but it is pretty cool. i really miss the old no doubt. |

I kinda miss the old No Doubt also. I've never really liked current, popular, American music. But there was a breif period of about a year or two in the 90s when I actually did, and No Doubt was part of that period. I don't kmow what it was, for some reason things just seemed to be aligned to produce stuff that wasn't so bad, and then almost as soon as it happened, things went back to crap. It was wierd...

It is just my personal opinion, but I see American artists getting on Alizee's MySpace as trying to get some milage on Alizee's re-ignited career. They may actually like Alizee's work, but whenever I see an American artist trying to get close to a European artist, I am thinking that the American artist recognizes the success and continued potential for success of that Eurpean artist and wants to cover their ass just in case that artist breaks in America or whatevr their personal reason is.
I have just got no faith that the American artist has good intentions, as they all seem so money and fame hungry that they would go to any length for it. |
