Scruffydog777 will become famous soon enough
Unhappy She bought the rights to her name back

I saw her latest version of Moi Lolita and to tell truth, I thought it was awful. The background music was terrible, the two singers they sent on stage with her sounded terrible and she sounded nervous and very unsure of herself. I had just read that she had just bought back the rights to her name for 1 euro which made me wonder maybe she doesn't have the rights to the origional background music for songs such as Moi Lolita.
If this is the case, It's going to be pretty disappointing to see her upcoming concerts.

I personally liked the new background music for Moi Lolita, but I imagine she sang in a higher key because she was singing with men, and they could barely even hit the low notes. I really doubt shes been working on her live singing just yet.

I really have to agree with Suzy here she brings up a good point, and a reasonable excuse.

Well, it was more like Mylene + Laurent had trademarked her name for commercial purposes (which was a legit move for everyone's protection, if I understand it correctly), but in order to get back in business without them, she had to buy it back for a symbolic amount.
I personally rather liked the backing instrumentation in this version. Presumably you remember that the En Concert backing was quite different from the original music as well.

The two singers were presumably Star Academy contestants. You can't blame her for their singing. (I liked Bertrand actually).
Well, who knows what will happen.

Really nothing to worry about in my opinion. That show is about the amateurs trying to break into the business, not about the actual professionals. If a song doesn't sound up to the high level of expectation, it's alright, it's really not going to, not with these performers and frankly Lili couldn't just carry them all through it with just her own voice. Plus both songs were written to sung be sung within certain parameters and with Alizee's voice in mind.

I hope what I wrote makes at least some sense.

Now that is very good news indeed. It means, I think, that we can finally bury the evil-Mylène idea for good. She copyrighted the name, but gave it back to Alizée for a token payment. Good going.

Yeah, this was confirmed in at least one recent interview (not to mention what Snatcher mentioned to us through the grapevine a while back).

Look at her schedule. She's doing something almost every day and so has only a couple of hours to practice and get things right. She's probably tired by now.

I thought she sounded good. You could tell she was having fun on stage, and that's what counts. Who cares about the rest.

Can anyone better explain to me what happened between her and the "Evil-Mylene"? in most if not all of the interviews i saw of Alizee during the time that she was being produced by Mylene she said that she was happy with how things were going and that she hoped they would continue in the same direction... why the sudden change of heart?
