I had no trouble at all, but I have a second DVD player that's built to be an all zones / all formats player, so I don't even think about it anymore.

The contents of the DVD is a topical short narrated by Jean Fauque about the ideas behind Psychédélices.

Regarding that DVD, is there any translations of what is said on it?
I've got it and watched it, but I could not understand much

That's got to be one of the weirdest aspects of the computer industry nowadays, at least IMHO. The cheaper the DVD model the more likely it will play both NTSC and PAL, the more expensive the player the less likely; I can't figure it out. It makes me apprehensive to buy even my first DVD player of which I haven't done as of yet. Sometimes having a computer is better to have, one that has ROM or RW, but then there it is again, the computer screen is a heck of a lot smaller than a 42" LCTV and I'am tempted to get the HDTV instead. Argh!!!

All this Trouble to play dvd's makes u want them to start shipping more stuff on blu-ray discs (region free and no PAL,NTSC).
It would make me happy anyway my ps3 hasnt seen much blu ray action.

My hypothesis is that it's cheaper to produce one kind of player with a little switch than two kinds that are hardwired NTSC and PAL.

These days you can get a DVD player for the price of a large dinner entree...

I was just at KMart and they have the Magnavox MVD-2023 for sale for $24.99, which ought to do everything you need. I mean, it's not much more than the shipping that you guys paid for the LE...

Thumbs up

hi
you can legally create a backup copy of the dvd you own using a cloning software
it will remove all the "zones" protections from the original dvd
cheers
