Mal, "polpu" apparently is Corsu for "octopus," or maybe for a particular type of octopus.

With AC saying it was something wet and slippery that women carried as a secret weapon, my twisted and perverse mind thought of something else -- but when he said it was hard to find in Paris, I knew it couldn't be that.
