Is Alizée Lipsyncing most of her performances?

Usually the way the "Merci"'s are handled is that either the mic is not live during the song itself and/or she mouths along silently, and then she says the Merci etc. with the live mic. (I'm not sure which one it is, dead mic or silent mouthing or both, someone with more lipsync experience will have to clarify what the usual protocol is for this).

Whell, you know. Focus, and that in studio you can do it over and over again, till you get it perfect. And in studio you can increase decrease thing etc.

But I'm not 100% sure about that either, since I think it's also sort of wierd.

We see artists lipsynching with a mic attached and band because of 2 reasons, one it's because of the "image" factor, she's a singer and has to have a mic and band, besides you can just pretend she's singing for real, that's great, that's her real singing anyway, only recorded in studio!
And the second reason it may be because she's backing up her own recording, I saw a lot of singers do that, they actually accompany their own recorded voice to seem more real and to sing/lipsync easier. Just my two cents..

HAHA.. the first video is amazingly funny, I remember I was rolling on the floor when I first saw it. Notice the white guy is just yelling instead of singing. And the black dude is soo.. ahem.. that three letter word that starts with letter "g"..
Alizee is amazing on the other hand as well as her LIVE concert in 2004.

Sorry if her live singing voice doesn't align with your fantasies of how it must be. Some people have unanticipated reactions to the cognitive dissonance that occurs when their fantasy collides with reality...
