Hmm... who said the occasionally ordinary can't be be inspiring? Alizée is believable as the endearing but unnoticed, girl next door. This sort of humanity is part of the charisma, and is a strength, not a weakness: the girl who caught a break and got to show the world her true talents and really amaze people and make people notice and admire.
It's exactly the constrast between the ordinary and the icon which makes great stars lovable. I don't know about anyone else, but there are plenty of pretty Hollywood stars who might as well be goddesses, but frankly I don't care. Goddesses are -boring-.  Heh, if I ever met a goddess, she'd probably scare me. Instead I'd run home and listen to some music.

She must have some powers or somthing because I was in the mall today in Paris and there was a video of her... I think it was an advertisement anyway I just stood wathing the video.
I lost track of time and almost lost my friends in the mall.
