I don't want to divert the thread, but I did want to answer your question.

Keep in mind that there is a large Muslim population in France, and that Israel was in the middle of being villified over some issue at that time. It's easy to see where there could have been negative feeling against Israel at the time, which could have resulted in anyone showing ANY form of support to be pressurized.

Well, your German grammar is not bad. But in neither language is it spelled "grammer."

BTW, "pressurized" is a word. It's just the wrong word.
