I've studied and practiced a lot of that, Umesh, from both Eastern and Western traditions. It's all over the world in one form or another (of course, India has some of the richest traditions anywhere). I've done yoga and meditation, ritual magick, and some things I've designed myself. I've been part of Wiccan covens and Druid groves, done shamanistic spirit quests (ended up with a dragon for a totem image, which is unusual as most totems are real animals not mythical ones), dabbled a bit in alchemy, done Hermetic ceremonial magick, and many other things.
Out of pure curiosity related to Alizée, I've also begun exploring the magical practices of Corsica. I can't find a whole lot about it, but apparently there are at least three paths native to the island, the Signadori, the Finzioni, and the Mazzeri. (Those names all sound to me like they're in Corsican rather than French.) The Signadori are healers, the Finzioni mainly seem to divine fates, and the Mazzeri are just weird -- they foretell who is going to die and are thought of as "black" mages.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "real magic" but I can assure you that nothing that David Blaine does is anything more than an illusion.

Dude don't get me started on Harry Potter... i freakin hate Harry Potter (sry HP fans, you guys may be cool, but Harry Potter sucks ass) "Dark Arts" (altough the term is used in Harry Potter) is an alternate term to Black Magic, including Paranormal Magic, Magick, Necromancy, etc
