Default Not a good time to visit France?

It as good a time as any to travel to France (well, if it weren't for the plumetting dollar compared to the euro), just not a good time to travel in France

The French ability to close down their transport system in an instant has always annoyed the Brits, as it obviously cripples most of our exports.

Sadly the French were unable to do the same in 1940 as the panzers came rolling through.

I presume the Alizée trucks full of CD's will be forced through by the police (just in front of ambulances and fire engines).

just in from France2: Train signalling wires and other cables have been vandalized and burned in several locations across high speed railway lines. It will take a few days to repair the damage and check that everything is in order. For now, TGV trains are only permitted to run on the slow lines, causing significant delays. A criminal investigation has been opened.

here is the Figaro article about the same issue: http://www.lefigaro.fr/actualites/20...s-perturbe.php

note: trains are arriving anywhere from 1-3 hours late

What on earth is going on?

I didn't think of that!

CFH, you assured me months ago I would be able to get her new album by normal retail methods. If I'm not in Lilly town by Christmas I'm holding you personally responsible
