Helena Noguerra

I don't know if anyone else is interested to know this, but this French actress and singer Helena Noguerra is also active with her music. She's having a concert in Paris on Feb 2008. She is the sister of Lio, and has been making music also since the 80's. I find her voice and beauty quite fascinating. She's not a young lolita, but I can appreciate how well she takes care of herself. I can only hope that my future wife looks half as decent as she does at her age. Anyways, here's a few videos from her, I love her smile too !!

I have from time to time been quite infatuated with Helena Noguerra. She's gorgeous! Bought her latest CD when I was in Paris a few weeks ago, but haven't listened to it yet. While not as pretty, you should check out Helena's lover, partner, and sometimes collaborator - Katerine. I saw him perform in Montreal for Francofolies 2006, and it was quite insane!

helena is actually portuguese, more attractive than her sister, nice body, lio is too skinny
I don't like katerine's voice too, however I spin his remixes in night clubs, he's probably one of the most remixed french singers

Actually she was born in Brussels, Belgium. Her family moved from Portugal in 1968, and she was born in 1969. Lio on the other hand was born in 1962 in Portugal. I think they both look great for their age, but definitely Helena is more gorgeous.. Cheers !!

As far as her lover - Somehow I don't find much interest in partners of those artist I find very attractive, and why is it that all the beautiful ones are always taken. Once again I feel like I was born at the wrong time and at the wrong side of town. I would give a big piece of me, for a little piece of her... or is it the other way around.

I know she lived in belgium, well, she remains a portuguese though
she looks like a girl from riverside county CA I dated during a party at the sofitel hotel
it's a luxury hotel located in portichju in the south of the gulf, her grand father organized trips across europe for WW2 veterans and she travelled with him
I think she was kinda hispanic mixed but very coquine
I don't remember her name, I think it was laura or laurie
I remember her cousin, a blonde shortie aged 16, wanted to dance with the waiter argueing he looked like keanu reeves
the guy didn't want though, saying she was too young and his english was too poor, I had to convince him
I met the guy after the party and he told me he french kissed her at the end of the dance and then she put a $5 banknote in his pocket to thank him, naughty chick

Here's a little music video that best reflects her origins, from her album Azul (Latin). I love the reviews she got from this album, it's exactly how I would have rated it and best described it...

Born in Belgium to Portuguese parents & singing in French, Helena Noguerra breathes exoticism into Azul, a Brazilian dream of an album. Diaphanous & elegant, her voice limns the sultry contours of the bossa nova, from its delicate sentiments to its calls to hedonism.

The vocals on this cd are amazing. She's so smooth, and she never takes her voice far out of range. You don't have shreiking or attempts to stray out of range, Helena just lets the music come to her - her style is soft and the accompaniment is true to this "genre". But - this is a rarity because I can put this on in the background and literally play the cd through to the end. Even the more upbeat tracks - like "M'en aller" and "Vem Aqui" never take away from the general feel of the cd.

Be warned though - this CD may not be for everyone. It definitely has a trippy, chillout feel - not what you want to put in if you're trying to "snap out of it" and get pumped up. But to me, put it in the car on the way into the cd for a romantic feel - it's perfect.
