Default Which album to start with?

Hiya! I've been looking at all of Alizée's albums (of which i have none, i get my fix through youtube videos mostly). I want to eventually buy all of them. But was wondering which one everyone else thinks is a MUST HAVE! I'm leaning towards the new one. But probably can't wrong with any choice really.

HELP!

For me, there are more songs on Mes Courants Électriques that I like than on the other two, though I like a good amount on all. I think it would be interesting to see someone start off listening to Psychédélices, then listen to the earlier stuff after they get a feel for the "new" Alizée. You would probably have a different perspective than most people here if you do, so that'd be nice to hear.

hard to choose, you gotta get all of them. are you gonna really just buy the albums 1 by 1 when all three are available for purchase at once? imo, there isn't really a must have, they're all good but if a division must be made, it's between the old alizee and the new.

Good point, but the thing slowing me down for that is MONEY Unless there is some packaged offer you know of where i could get the 3 studio albums together in a bundle?

So i was going to take it slow at first and enjoy them one album at a time. I'm betting i get one and then HAVE TO get the others as soon as possible!

Either start with Gourmandises then MCE then Psychédélices.
Or start with Psychédélices then buy the other two when you get the money.

I think that it's necessary to understand Alizée's beginnings before attempting to understand the new directions that she has taken. Not to mention that Gourmandises is simply a stunning album.

All of her albums are, but I would suggest Gourmandises.

+1! Objectively Mes Courants Électriques is probably best, and the one that hooked me. But I'd love to hear from someone who started with Psychédélices!

I’d order all three and save on the shipping. If you don’t have the money, hold up a liquor store or something…

I was also first hooked on MCE, but I can't live without any of them. And don't forget the En Concert CD and DVD...you'll need to get them too.
