![]() Hey everybody!
One thing that's come up in the three video commentary chat parties we've done is that people seem very interested in doing more without the need for a video, and having more of an open chat or roundtable discussion focussing on one or two different topics each week. (Kind of like NPR for Alizée fans.) So the question is: what would you guys like to talk about? Let's hear some topic ideas! Also also, I'm getting the impression that some of you aren't entirely comfortable with these being released as podcast episodes, or at the very least you're indifferent to it. For me, making a podcast is kind of the point--I really miss the AAm Podcast, and I think it's a great way to promote the site and the community, and reach out to other fans. (I originally found AAm through the podcast, after all.) But if you guys really aren't cool with having these recorded, that's cool too. Weigh in and let me know what you think!

![]() No, making a podcast is great. We just need to make sure that we understand the main part will be posted publicly and that's that. That's always why it's good to do a specific video or collection or something like we have been doing. That way, it gives the listener something to associate it all with, like a movie commentary as the original idea was. I still think that's good, but if we also want to add additional topics in-between, then if they are good and we come prepared then it might be fun too. I just hope we don't exhaust an idea and then have nothing to say during video commentaries or end up posting just a bunch of aimless banter and call it a podcast. That's why, while not essential, it is good to try to come prepared with something to say. I think that made it more fun and interesting on the first two.
Well, back to Powershell.

![]() Topics:
-Other Music -Comedy Films/Films in general -Work and Life -Gossips and Mainstream Rumours (zomg!) Overall, each week we should have the Comedy Central-esque "Roast of (member name here)" to a different member each time. If this idea is promoted or implemented, put my vote in for Jung as the first Roast-given member! ![]() Personally casual chatting is more of in the lines of what i'd like to implement my activity into. I mean watching Alizée and discussing it with other people, in truth, isn't my thing. I'm a compulsive person, I mean when I listen to something like G3's "Live in Tokyo" album, I really want to listen to it. If anyone talks while John Petrucci rips a solo on La Grange is going to get the full fit of my assholishness simply because I REALLY WANT TO LISTEN TO THE GODDAMN ALBUM! Anyways, yeah, I don't like interruptions when it comes to musically-involved things/videos/etc. Casual chat seems like something that can be placed into a more, hella-good-time environment. There would rarely be moments of silence, simply because what there is to talk about is not restricted to ONE topic. Thus, anyone can jump in with a new thing to talk about, a new idea, and hell, the chatterbox is going again!

![]() These are all good side topics, but there's gotta be a central Alizée-related one too per podcast I think.

![]() Yeah, that's my thinking also. Banter topics like these to loosen everybody up and ease into things are a good idea--most of the podcasts I listen to on a regular basis do this--but I'd like to have a main Alizée-related topic to anchor each episode. It could be serious or silly, but if we're not talking about Alizée for at least some of the time, there's not much point to it being in the AAm feed.

![]() I like the idea of people coming and talking some off-topic on days when you don't do the podcast or if someone really want's to set up a discussion about something else just to hang out with some of the other forum members and get to know them (remember these off-topic chat's don't have to be part of a podcast or anything) I myself am typically there nights and sometimes on the weekends so even randomly drop by just to chat or something
just stop by sometime and have a good time |

![]() If you guyz want to do other chat stuff, i think you guyz should just use the Chat room for this website or go2 the Vent server. They seem to be a cool places to hang out and shoot the breeze, ya know? Podcast stuff should exclusively be for Alizee events.....Ciara pretty much started a tradition for AAm, and we should keep that going

![]() I think going off topic every so often is OK, as long as the main topic(s) is/are related to Alizée. Of all the podcasts that I listen to (with the exception of the Alizée America podcast) the only one that never, ever goes off topic is Futures in Biotech.
