No text speak please!!
I have a complaint.....
 I've noticed recently on the forum that the use of 'text speak' has started to increase. For those of us of a certain age  and for those (like me) who don't have (or want) a mobile phone it's really irritating.You know the type of thing i mean. LOL 4 U and such like. I really really struggle with knowing what some of this stuff actually means? e.g. until a few days ago i thought LOL was 'Lot's of Love'. Please make it stop. BTW (that's by the way) my tounge is firmly in my cheek

Sometimes words that are not and should have a plural forum will be made plural with the z rule just for looks and sound laterz lolz I was bored so I made a list, if anyone has any I am missing please feel free to add to the list = ) Today's youth, successful mutilating the English language!

So you are complaining that I am not using the proper vernaculars of the English language?
No of course, I am just teasing, I know that there is a rise in the infallible and blabbermouth methods of textspeaking, and I simply grin and bear it. You can read what you may and I only read what I want to, like my old folks used to say. "If it's worth understanding, then it's worth reading."
