So talking about the decades and such with Alizee's new album got me all nostalgic-y.. who else is a 90's kid?!

Pokemon?! (both the trading cards and the game)
Gameboys?!
Going to McDonalds like once a week?!
When you actually played outside rather than die slowly on facebook?!

How about:

Pogs?
Beavis and Butt-Head?
Are You Afraid of The Dark on Nickelodeon?
Spice Girl Mania?
The Sony Discman (which i still use)?
Tickle Me Elmo?
Super Nintendo?
Trapper Keepers?
Push Pops?
WWJD?
Mood Rings?

The 90's were ok, but the 60's and the 70's were my decades. Too bad i couldn't have been there.

I know all that stuff. But In my country 90's were hard times, tranformation from socialism economy (centrally planned economy) to capitalist time, free-market economy, big unemployment, etc. So I wasn't using most of that, what you listed here, didn't have the internet.

well, technically i'm a 70's kids, 80's tennager, 90's young adult, '00's aa-dult, soon to be '10 mid life crisis to head into '20's old fartdom!

So for me its bell bottoms, Farrah faucet hairdo on girls I had crushes on.. pointy bras, textile colors of orange, olive-green and browns, bench seats in "land yact" cars, oh and the Brady Bunch! i can go on...

before cel phones and texting, people were a lot nicer and you actually had companionship.. We are now in a bubble society.

Glad to see someone as young as you seeing what is lost with all of these new gadgets.. Good for you to wise up some of your peers.

Oh and computers were much more "fun"...

my personal favorite... AMIGA!

"multitasking, 1988 style:

state of the art compute guts (this is a fraction fo whats in an iPhone today!)

A fully loaded amiga computer with the "video toaster", and a hard drive on a slot card!:

and thus my first steps intocomputer animation!

of course the same software, today, looks like this!

ahhh.. computers in the 80's ...
