Alizée: The Movie
I was thinking today, if there were a movie made about Alizée's life......
I've been watching a lot of those biography movies lately like Selena, La Bamba, Stand and Deliver, Walk the Line, those sort. I was wondering, if a movie about Alizée were to be made... - Who would play Alizée? - Would they get different actresses to play different ages? - What would be in the story - If they'd add a whole bunch of crap to make it 'interesting' - How many times I'd see it in the first week .. what are your guy's thoughts?

You too? I discovered Lost on Hulu, all four seasons plus part of 5, got the rest on iTunes. I marathoned for 2 weeks. Great not having to wait for cliffhangers and just watching it through... plus its easier to follow all of the twist and turns with it fresh in my mind and not spread over 6 years. I did the same with desperate housewives.

Perhaps instead of a photoplay of Alizée's career/life up to now a more extended career diversification into histrionics may be on the horizon; hypothetically speaking, of course. It certainly wouldn't surprise me any since the possibility exists, assumingly so; besides the fact, her vocal talents put on the silver screen being a possible inducement towards a type of career advancement.
But I'm thinking more of a period-style instead of a modern era type cinema presentation. Something like back in the time of Taylor Caldwell's 1943 'Hand of Darkness' type novels with the Musketeers, etc., wherein Alizée could be one of an assortment of characters with a singing part. Hence, though, a song popular even during that time period; if they had any, of course. That is, if people were allowed to sing and dance back then; an interesting thought there. Though there were plenty of Gregorian, symphonies, etc., mostly religiously acceptable, if at that. Alizée portraying a revivial of musical taste for the ages; like amongst wandering troubadours perhaps? Or one familiar with such expressions though high-born herself. Sarah Brightman's individual career started out with an Album on old Celtic folksongs, if not mistaken. Something can be worked out along those lines certainly. That is, if one wanted to. There's certainly period-type movies about these days as there have been for quite some time; on epic proportions even. Be interesting I would think; though the tattoos may have to be covered up a little. I don't think that would be a problem though. They wore plenty of glamorous clothes back then. |
