People who don't understand

Does anybody get shit from their friends for being on this site? I know alot of people conceal it, but i made the mistake of telling my friends and now they never leave me alone. Every conversation i start, it somehow leads into her. Some people just don't understand her, i feel like it's my softer side being released. Experiences? Stories? I'm trying to hear anything to see if what im going through is normal.

My friends don't bug me as much as the people at my work. If I am at work tired, they say "you must of been with the French girl last night".

I had one REALLY bad situation happen at work where I almost got fired over "the French girl"...

I too get "shit" from a lot of people and my friends when it comes to this site lol. I don't really care though. Most of them are just playing around but then some others are just narrow minded, inconsiderate, or just stupid meany heads

I don't conceal my love for Alizée at all! I express it! Through art, posting and discussing on here, listening to her, or even the occasional occurence of me bringing her up in conversation with someone I believe may appreciate her music. Some do get that I'm really just a big fan of her music and all, but some just don't get it. Plus, I think most people are just caught off gaurd at the fact that I could be such a big fan of someone who makes music so very different from the normal rock and stuff that I normally go around listening to.

It does seem to be true that I am not critisized for just being a fan as much as being a member of a fansite though. I've even been called a stalker a lot too... that does get old but I'm just like "how the F am I a stalker???"

I know its just teasing but you're definitely right, some people just don't get her. I feel sorry for them

They are missing out on so much. Her wonderful and awesome music, her beauty, and the wonderful and sweet person that she is.

Anyway, enough of me rambling on about this. I could go all day lol. Welcome to the forum, bro.

Some of my friends do like to tease me about Alizée, but I really don't get "shit" about it from my friends. Haven't really shared it with that many people anyways, according to finnish customs, people don't really ask, if they do I simply tell them.
If they belong to one of those 3 groups you listed and give me "shit", I really don't care, not like their opinions matter.

Yeah the UK's also been getting some of the hottest weather I can remember at the moment too. Everyone's panicking (as usual) but I've actually been rather enjoying it! But now it's just been rain for about 48 hours solid.
