Default One year ago...

One year ago, Alizée updated her website. It was white, it was minimalist and possessed only a small black/white sketch of Lili appearing to be asleep.

One year ago, I wondered if there weren't something hiding in the void surround her.

One year ago, I wondered no more...

The Veil Removed

The inspiration behind this was the website of an English gothic rock band whose frontman really hated "dodgy darklings" to say the least...

The Inspiration

I also remember how much activity this inspired. It was truly a wild and crazy time.

Memories...

Look at everything enclosed in quotes, starting with a < !-- and ending with a --! > (Very often colored green in programs)

The first says:

Uneenfantdusiecle.com

This is in the source code of the official website before the album was even announced, that's what I think is the major point.

The second is more complicated to read through since it had code in it, but here it is too:

Note to spport bands:
We've changed our European concert-booking agent,
to enhance our side of the promoter-checking process,
but if you're a band and you plan to share our stage,
check with the promoter whether he should have asked us about it,
and check that he actually did ask us about it
;;
This applies to everybody, but most particularly to support bands
from a galaxy far, far away
at the sad end of the musical spectrum. No surprises there.
;;

The only surprise is the recent and remarkably inventive whining
of fuckwits who think that
dodgy darklings have some god-given right to
hijack a sisters gig merely by alerting their closest neighbours,
surprusing us at a soundcheck and
(reluctantly) letting us hear their (naturally) bad CD,
five hours before showtime

If it helps, place your cursor on each image, then click to have it large and note the green text. Enjoy!
