Him and Miley always seemed so sure of themselves, where Alizee was always so down to earth. One of the many reasons why I loved her so much.

Miley had a wild child stint, but now that she's engaged to the inferior Hemsworth (I like the older one personally
 ) she seems to be very happy and keeping her feet on the ground. She's a lot more bearable than she used to be.As for the topic of Alizee vs Bieber, I used to think Bieber was another fad (the Jonas Brothers were just as popular as he was at first, but nobody remembers them now), but he has considerable staying power. He does have a good voice, he's an entertaining performer, and is great at keeping up a good public image, not to mention he has a certain look that lots of teenage girls go crazy for. Alizee has those things too (reverse the attractiveness factor from 'teenage girls' to 'men everywhere' lol), but Justin has something she doesn't - he loves the spotlight and is incredibly passionate about making music and sharing it. He also has a great amount of willpower and drive, he works very hard at what he does, whether it's through maintaining his public image/reputation all the time (he shows a lot of patience towards his insane fans), making his music, or his interviews, concerts and tours. I personally don't care for him or his music, but I think it's obvious that he has an enormous amount of dedication to what he does. Alizee seems to like performing a lot, but I think as far as being a big star and having hit songs on the radio goes, she could take it or leave it, probably leaning more towards leave it. It seems to me that her music career has become more or less a hobby. She seems to enjoy her privacy and living an easygoing, carefree life. TL;DR: Justin Bieber and his team are a hit-making powerhouse, Alizee is more like the little engine that could, chugging along at her own speed.
