Default Spam threads

its pretty easy to spot a spam thread. whenever a thread doesnt mention anything about Alizee, its spam. if it were a real person, im sure theyd make it clear that theyre there for Alizee, and not for some advertising shoes, or what country should he/she go to, or to promote some J-Lo porn. dont even bother posting on these threads, cuz theyre just gonna get deleted anyway. Thanks!

If you still have a doubt, you can google what the post is saying and find the same thing in tons of other forums already . Another hint is when the poster's last visit is the same than his only post timestamp...

Doesn't vbulletin have optional random image login validation to prevent bots from posting? 3 images would be sufficient.

it does .. but I don't want to make it to annoying to all of the normal users. There are some other addons I have seen pop up recently that are supposed to help with spam. It has been bad for a lot of people lately.

i suspect all of our spammers are real people though. we have email verification and a few other things that tend to stump most of the bots.
