It truly is one of the best live performance videos I have ever seen. She wrote all her own stuff then, so her heart was in her words, every line rendered from her soul, kickboxing and belly dancing thrown in appropriately, and she has dark hair! But come to America and what happens? Blond, Vapid, Manipulated and the self motivated, empowered hispanic female talent turns into a slut. Dye Alizee blond, turn her limpid pools bright blue and present her as a prostitute that sings between tricks and hits of crack and BANG - big cross over hit! Ouch - that's why if Alizee is to come to America and further her career, she needs to work in film. Unknown, she can concentrate on her art, create and launch a new aspect of her career. She'll even have time to take care of her baby - what her husband will do, well, what does he do?
