ok so, i've seen it in quite a couple disussions of people comparing Alizée to Britney Spears.... idk y that pisses me off so much, maybe cuz its complete BS (pun ) and also cuz maybe the fear that since Britney F'd up her life so badly, and look at her life now .... and comparing that to Alizée, who i know will never fall down that path of self-destruction... sure there are similarities, but you can pretty much find similarities in just about anything!

I showed my friend this website and the first thing he said was, "So she's like a French Britney Spears?" and i defended Alizée's honor, but im confused that since Alizée has so much depth and character (talent and respect too), unlike our USA pop princess ( dee dee dee) Britney, that people make the correlation so quickly, almost without even thinking... grrr...

man i know how you feel Britney spears is just your natural diva and her music vids revolve around sex and i don't look for that in a singer i look for talent and to see if the singer can make an emotional connection whcih i have to say she has and it pisses me off to no end how someone can say Alizee is just a french britney. Alizee does not revolve around sex in her music vids even though she has some tight or short clothing in some of them. like britney spears slave4u music vid is revolved around like serving you in a way and making you happy so yea i totally agree with you man

I agree Alizée has considerable more honor and strength of character than Brtiney. I know that she won't end up like Britney, but I have a shadow of a doubt. If she continues with her tongue-ring and the 'picture that fascinates' incidents, and takes that trend too far, she might become less desirable in my mind. This Britney-comparison also gives me more reason to dislike the J'en Ai Marre dance. She did not need to flaunt her sex-appeal quite as much. Granted, it isn't nearly as bad as some of the stuff that Britney did, but it puts Alizée in the same category as Britney for a lot of people who only see the J'en Ai Marre dance. What happened to Parler Tout Bas?? I miss that Alizée. But don't get me wrong, I'm fully confident that she can hold her dignity and remain, at least partly, that innocent princess we all love.

true, but i think that JEAM dance was sexy, however Britney's Slave4U dance is just sex.... no sexy.. just sex.. and i hate how peaple make that comparison to Alizée

i wouldnt compare her to britney spears, i would compare lorie to britney spears, both singers have shitty music
