I'm just posting a link I found over on AF. I know you saw the post because you posted in that thread over on AF. (That is, assuming you are Killian there too...) Actually a lot of people who are on both seem to have a reasonably similar handle in both places (though not necessarily identical).

Thats cool and all for him, but visiting Corsica just because alizee was born there, is kind of weird to me, maybe im not an extreme fan like him ^_^

That post was pretty funny. How many confessions of dork-hood can you fit into a few paragraphs?

There are many reasons to go to Corsica. I wouldn't go there looking for Alizée. Well, unless she invited me.

I would go to explore the mountains, the maquis, the seashore, swim in the Med, call the dolphins, learn to wind-surf and/or sail, check out the menhirs and the local occult traditions, taste the strong cheese and the unique sausage, buy some of the famous olive oil, try the vintages.

And in my case, figure out exactly what it is I'm supposed to do there, because it's definitely something; the place was bugging my dreams and popping up synchronistically for weeks before I made the decision I was going to go next year. But that's just me.

Sounds like a pretty cool place. It's different culturally from France proper, also from Italy, with a very anti-authoritarian tradition but at the same time a streak of fatalism. It's going to be an interesting trip, whether or not I also run into you-know-who.

This is awsome! I hope her single is coming out soon. It is to bad she doesn't get on the English forums, but she probably prefers reading in French.
